Legal Question in Family Law in India
suspension during conviction
My friend (central govt. employee) has been convicted by sub-judge cum judicial magistrate under section 498-A with imprisonment for two years. He had already got anticipatory/regular bail for this case. After pronouncement of judgment, he immediately moved application for suspension of sentence and filed appeal in Sessions court.
Now will he be suspended from service by government in wake of conviction by trial court or he will remain in service till final judgment by apex court(suppose sessions/high court also goes against him and he keeps on doing appeal).

Re: suspension during conviction
The judgement of conviction and sentence may be sufficient for removal of the accused from service.
