Legal Question in Family Law in India

CAn i transfer divorce case from raipur to mumbai as the case has been filed by wife who's maternal home is in raipur and shes currently residing there. it is very difficult for me to travel for hearings and hence i need tthe transfer to mumbai -where i reside.

U HAVE TO APPLY 2 SUPREME COURT FOR TRANSFER.

you may apply for transfer but being a husband there are bleak chances of transfer.

Wife has a right to file a case where she resides. Even if you had to file a case, you also would have to file in raipur. Had you filed it in mumbai, she would be entitled to transfer to raipur (ofcourse by supreme court only) but you cannot
