Legal Question in Family Law in India
Validity of Marriage
I and my husband got married about 6 months back with full marriage ceremony, but we did not made the marriage certificate.
For the last two months he has lost interest in me and says that since we do not have a marriage certificate, our marriage is not officially valid and can dump me any time.
Also, he says since he is in process to move to Australia, once out of India I can never prove that he is my husband.
Please help me. Can he really dump me that easily?

Re: Validity of Marriage
No, he CANNOT. On the contrary you may initiate a criminal complaint against him u/s 498-A IPC and alsl under 'domestic violence' laws. Once the case is registered, he may not be able to leave the country. You may even request the police to impound his passport.

If you have had a marriage ceremony. the marriage is valid and your husband cannot deny the same. You can file a case of harrasment against him.

HELLO
GOOD MORNING
First of all tell him its not that EASY AND ITS NOT A JOKE!
You may file a criminal complaint u/s 498-A IPC and a DV case. Direct the police that he has applied for the Australia visa.
Leaving the country is far but he wont be able to leave the city or state if you decide.
