Legal Question in Family Law in India

Visitation rights with child monitoring

Due to more distance, i am not in position to meet my son of 6yrs old frequently. Yet, i wish to monitor his health and other important events in his life. Is it possible to ask his custodian mother in such occasions to keep me informed thru e-mail or phone? [Male, India]

yes, you should talk to the child's mother and stay in touch via e-mail; you may also speak with the child on phone ocassionally. you should also stay in touch with the child's school, his school teacher and other families whose children go to same school/class.

another suggestion is, try to make your child learn writing you letters; you may send occasional gifts like cards/letters/writing material to your son and request him to write you back by making cards in his own hands.
