Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife has deserted me for more than one year. While I was in office she called her parents , who came and taken her from my rented house & informed me from mid way to her home that she is going to her parent�s house & will not interested to return. Earlier six months back ,she has done like this but with my request she returned back. This time also I requested her for coming back but her reply was negative & offensive. So I filed divorce against her based on cruelty. After getting the notice her lawyer has appeared in the court without any written statement.90 days has passed nothing is counter filed from them or her lawyer. Even my lawyer has taken another date in the court for the written statement from them. Like this almost 6 months from the date of first notice serve to her had passed, so i have requested my lawyer to proceed for Ex parte divorce .He told me to make affidavit for it and give evidence in the court in the coming date .He is taking a lot of time also to prepare affidavit and proceeding very slowly .What may be the problems in this proceeding?
Can anyone Guide me, whether I am moving in right direction and what are the probable outcomes for this move? Or what can be other possible direction in the law of court? Thank you a lot.

You and your lawyer are moving in right direction. stay cool and do not try to hurry up things which otherwise takes time as per court docket, procedures and lawyer's working. It is normal that time is consumed in these proceedings.
