Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife died. I have a son (minor) and I am hindu. My Father in law is planning to sell some of his ancestoral property. Does he require any written consent from my son or from me (being guardian for my son) before he sells that property? Does my son own any share on that property? Thanks for your advice in advance.

in case its an ancestral property, you and your son have a right in the property and you both can have the share that your wife was entitled to get had partitioned took place during her life time. you may approach the lawyer if you like.
