my wife dont want divorce. after marriage we live together only for 310 days. till today she lived without me at her fathers home for 305 days. now i want permanent seperate by law. but when i told her for divorce. she threten me for ipc 498a. now i m confused what to do. has any way to divorce? marriage17jun2009.

i want divorce. is it possible? if i punished by ipc498a, then how long stay in jail? after releasing from jail can i free from her?

My friend why do you think so negative? First file section 9 hindu marriage act immediately and also have talks with her and try to resolve the issues amicably.

it is not so simple to prove offence u/s 498A. you may contact a nearby advocate.

If u want her back then file section 9 HMA and if you want divorce only then file it immediately. Dont wait her first step of 498 else you wil not even get bail. For detailed consultation you may contact at [email protected]
