Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife has divorced me in my absence and has remarried. The ex-parte divorce decree does not specify any alimony. However I do not have proof of her remarriage. Can she claim alimony from me in future?

I am also planning to marry a second time with a person who has no kids from previous marriage. How do I ensure that my wife does not lie to me about whether she has kids or not so that in case of breakup I don't have to pay alimony to her kids (hidden from me at time of marriage) ?

You may better collect all the necessary facts including background check of your wife and her husband. It may appropriate to hire a detective agency.
