Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife has filed a case against me for dowry harassment for reason that i did not agree to stay in her house rest of my life. Every one around us know that it base less aligation.I could not attend the court either. I work in bangalore and case in kerala. I have my lawyer working on it . I was not in contact for long with my lawyer either since January.The case was filed in August 2010 estimatedly by them.The case also drags my father who is a twice angioplasty heart patient and sister who is an HIV patient being accused.

Her parents wanted an amicable settlement.But she wants to trouble me . she is missusing the dowry harassment law towards me.Now i do not want anymore to live with her.

How to work towards a divorce.
