my wife has filed a divorce on the grounds of cruely . what are the steps i can take to protect my self. ?
i want to settle and get divorced as quick as possible. is it possible for her to drag the case?

since she has filed for divorce, it is up to you to drag it or not. since you also want a divorce, you may put in a proposal for divorce by mutual consent which will cut short the entire period to just six months.
