Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife has filed for a divorce. My take home pay is around 55000 and her take home pay is Rs 30000. We have a male child (7 year old) and the child is with her. I don't want to divorce her. How much alimony is she entitled for?

She may not be entitled to maintainence for herself. It would further depend upon the child's expence be it may education, medical and extra curricular activities (he used to enjoy before seperation)
See if you dont want divorece that means you want to live with her. If so first file a case U/s. 9 of Hindu marriage Act. Secondly you might not have to pay any alimony as your wife is alreay working.
