Legal Question in Family Law in India

my wife filed a maintenance case against me and demanding 35000 per month for her and my 1 yr. child. After case filed in court she is not appear in court and every time she give application like fever, out of station etc. now its 2 years... my lawyer said it is in my favour. it is true???? and what is my step for next?
