Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife has filed the restitution of conjual rigts after one year she left the house.I agreed for
the restitution of conjual rights.But she is not interested to come back and she is not telling frankly
in the court also so she is dragging the case unnecessarily for more then one and half year.Now also it is going on.
Now in 2010 she filed another one case(the domestic violence case) againts me and my parents in separate court.after 2 years she left the house.It is a new case for harrasing me and my parents.In that case she is asking maintenance for every month.Currently i am unemployed and i do not have any income.
After that the case posted for evidence but she asked the judge for mediation in domestic violence case for settlement.I attended the mediation and she agreed for mutual divorce.But she is asking very huge money for that.I am not able to give that amount.So the mediator gave time and asked us to come for next mediation.So how to proceed and solve?.Suppose if the mediation is fail means whether it creates problem for us?and we can ask the mediator to record this amount claim? because they are money minded persons.

even if the mediator records the amount demanded, it may not help in ur case as the recordings before the mediator is no evidence. you may try to negotiate the matter and convince her for lower amount. is there any child?
