Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

Me and my wife were flasely accused in a 498a case filed by the wife of my Brother in law.

The police have removed our names in the chargesheet to the Court.

Can I file a complaint for defamation case on the wife and fatherinlaw of my brother inlaw ? Which are the sections in the IPC I can charge them?

Please advise.
