Legal Question in Family Law in India

my wife tried to give adoption to her elder parent. i was denied. she filed 498a on me and given kid to elder parent. now elder parent declaring that they are the guardian for my kid. my question is other than father and mother how they can declare guardian ship. when i contacted with my wife she is stating that i was told i am not the father of kid.

father is a natural guardian of the kid and wife cannot give in adoption to anyone without consent of the father. the grand parents cannot claim the guardianship in case father is competent to take care of the child.
