my wife wants to give me a divorce. she mailed me on last thursday saying she has applied for divorce and that i will receive a notice in a months time. is it true that it will take a months time to get a notice. i want to know how many days will it take to get a letter regarding the divorce.

You may receive the summons in due course alongwith a copy of the divorce petition. Thereafter, you may file your reply to the petition. The time taken in the entire process cannot be determined at this stage.
