Legal Question in Family Law in India
my wife name is lalitha.her father name is Ravi. my name is vijay .we got married recently. before marriage in my wife degree certificates, birth certificates it was R. LALITHA and in her passport it was surname RAVI given name LALITHA. there is a common practice in india to change the surname after marriage by womans. if i change my wife surname as LALITHA VIJAY in passport & all other documents, her degree certificate will still be as R.LALITHA (having her father surname)
whether this will impact if she join job in india /abroad ? bcoz her degree certificate name contains her father surname whereas passport , pan card contains surname as husband name
i plan to apply dependent visa for her shortly. and also she likes to work in foreign nation . will it be a problem during visa process if her degree certificate retains with her father surname whereas passport like docs contains surname as husband? pls clarify

The procedure to change the surname of wife is to get your marriage registered and get a marriage . Decrees or any other documents of your wife with your father in laws name etc would not hamper her to get a job abroad. Anyway if you are going on H-1b Visa then your wife cannot work under H-4 visa.
