Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife left the house in july 2011 and filed 498a with false aligations. Three dates are over with no proceedings. We had a discussion with her parents in our advocate house where we clearly told them that we don't to maintain husband wife relationship any more. They were insisting that forget everything and start afresh but were not ready to admitt that what they had done is wrong and false. I want to file a divorce but our lawyer advising to wait and see, and if we file divorce suit they would file maintainance and will cost be a huge, and the case may go against me if we file a divorce suit by myself. They had not file any more cases and maintainance till now. Her parents never trying to contact us or our advocate but she is continously calling me over phone which i am reluctant to pick. Pls advise whether to file divorce suit now or to wait? what should be my actions now?

its better to wait for some time and not to be in hurry....

receive her calls and see what she have to say ... if possible record the conversation... and from ur side be polite .....
