my wife left my house six months back now they wants divorce they are demanding 125000 for stridhan and all for mutual divorce without going court, now quetion is my wife took all the gold(stridhan) when she left my house with her and they need money what shoud i do?

the amount does not seem to be big as permanent alimony. it is advisable to go for divorce by mutual consent by paying 1.25 lacs, in case you financial resources allow you to do so.

even for mutual divorce you have to go to the court, in other aspects i agree with Adv Gupta.
