my wife left house after 2nd month pregnancy without reasons, than she did baby shower without informing me. i tried lot to get her back but she and her parents r worst to talk. also she is having b'frnd. i hav claimed for dna test but she did not come for it. i have not seen the child still date 8 months have passed. now i fear 498a and dva so i have kept calm and taken my claims back. my question is still what period of time she can file 498a and dva against me after separation as 2 years will be over soon for our marriage and one year for separation.I want to clear only one thing if the child is my or not. i m frustrated and as i have not seen child also. plz help what should i do to play safe.

You need to file a petition for visitation right and also to move an application praying the court to direct the paternity test of the child. Now the main question is whether you want to get your wife back or u are thinking in the direction of divorce. Don't be afraid of 498A and D.V as one year is a long time and the presumption of cruelty becomes almost nil. For more help you can contact at 919555462995
