I do not see the reason why you would not take the registered notice from her. You should have taken it, seen it and then responded to that notice. No step as such is to be taken in anticipation. AT the most, if you want her to come back to your house where you live with your parents, you should write her to come back and live in the matrimonial home. You may explain her your matrimonial bond with her and your duty towards your parents. Living together will be in the interest of entire family. So sending notice for restitution of conjugal rights either by you or through lawyer would be your best remedy at this time.

You should have taken the letter. never the less now you can contact a lawyer at the place where the case has been filed and get the copy unofficially. You can also file a case under sec. 9 if you want to live with her.

you should have received the legal notice and it was your duty to reply the legal notice by rebutting her allegations. in case you handle your matter in an attentive manner, you can save yourself and your family from harassment at the hands of your wife and her false criminal cases. moment she lodges a complaint before any authority, you may seek anticipatory bail.
