Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife has lodged a false complaint against me and my family with dowry and domestic violence and cruelty to her. CAW cell had called both of us. There has been no headway and she is admant that a case may be registered against me and my family. Marriage was love, no dowry, two children, adequate proofs of i bearing the expenses of the house. what will be the future course of actions by police and what should i do.

for the sake of children, if the matter could be settled, you may convince her to stay together for the sake of your love marriage and the children. in case she is adamant, you simply hire a lawyer and file an application for anticipatory bail even if the f.i.r. is not lodged as yet. the judge would order the notice in your case. then you prove the falsity of the f.i.r. in trial.
