My wife has mentally retarded lady certified by USA doctors on the basis of doctors certificate USA govt social security admin appointed me as guardian to receive the Social Security benefits on behalf of her. I have the xerox copy of the certificate. How can i use the xerox copy of the document in Indian court ( for child custody case and 498(a) filed by me wife)

In case you have that certificate, it can be used to seek child custody. Have you obtained the certificate in her presence or absence in US. Read more on custody rights on website www.karvai.in.
You need to get the xerox attested by notary I order to file the same in Indian courts.
Xerox copy is not admissible in law in India . You are suppose to get the order of social security admin appointing you the guardian of your wife to be notarized by Indian Embassy in USA to be filed in Indian courts.
