Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife ran away on 21dec2011& my bail application peniding in(498a&406) punjab high court.i got stay till 19jan.can i file divorce case?does it create any effect on my bail if i file divorce case.plz suggest what to do ?

As discussed earlier with you, please file a complaint with the police. If they do not take it, mail it to them. If you have an acknowledgment write to DCP for registration of an FIR. At the cost of repetition, at this stage, concentrate on your bail application. The effect on your bail would depend upon the allegations against you in FIR filed by wife.

you can file divorce case. your bail will not be affected
