my wife ran away on 20dec2011 from rented house & premises locked i have inform in local police station & i got threatening call from her relative that do only those thing which they say & arrange money for divorce other wise you get kill from us.police says on this fir will not lodge plz suggest wat to do.?

in case the police is not registering the FIR of criminal intimidation, you may see a lawyer and a complaint u/s 200 can be filed along with an application u/s 156(3) of criminal procedure code for directing the SHO to lodge an FIR.
