Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife has run away from my house even without informing me or my family members. Her family outrightly supports her and she is not ready to comunicate and just says that she wants to seperate, that's it. She has left the house with our 3.5 years old daughter. I am and my parents are very very much atached to the child. On this grounds, my wife is trying to hold us to ransom and is emotionally torturing us all. in this situation, what is the best course of action for me?

you can file a petition for custody of your child and in the meantime seek visitation rights.
The best course for you would be : approach your wife and try to meet all her demands. If you do not support her, she has naturally to seek support from her parents who should be her first choice. You are lucky in the sense that she has not registered a false criminal case against you and your parents for curelty which she could easily do by now. Try to avoid litigation and court proceedings and instead solve the matter at social / personal level. Meanwhile, you should start sending her adequate money for herself and the child support. You should keep in mind that litigation will be costly and time consuming with uncertain results.
