Wife is seeking divorce after short duration of 6 months.she is a chartered accountant. in laws have returned back all cloths/ ornaments/ jewellary brought by her .she is now demanding ornaments / jewellary given by husband side too as stridhan. divorce is planned by mutual consent. what is the legal status & whether alimony - once time lump sum payment too can be demanded by her

If it is mutual divorce then it is both of you who will decide everything.
But if it is contested divorce then court will decide. but though she is also earning hand hence she is not entitle for any maintenance but at the time of divorce, court will grant atleast alimoney.
