Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife is not staying with me for the past two months and she has applied in the women cell and has also given women cell a fake list of things which she brought with her at the time of marriage. Can she file a case under 498a. The case is still on at the women cell. Please advise

If her demands are not met in the CAWC by you then your wife would be left with no other option but to ask the CAWC to register a FIR u/s 498A,406 etc against you and your family . Engage a good lawyer to guide you on a day to day basis. Take a stay order on arrest from the court while appearing in CAWC.
