Two wifes ,husband death.Caste,income for second wife.
Hello thanks in advance for your reply.
My query is,
My father has two wifes.Both are sisters.I am son of first wife.We all lived together.After my father death the M.R.O is not issuing caste,income certificates to the second wife children.The sec wife is govt employee.if they dont get my father caste income there studies will be in problem.Plese help us.

Except in case of muslim the second marriage without obtaining divorce from first wife is null and void and therefore non-est in eyes of law.

Your statement may be incomplete. It is not legal for a government employee to have two wives and no benefits may be available to the second wife.
