Legal Question in Family Law in India

Will draft

I wish to know if will is necessary to register with court?

If yes, what is procedure?

Where to register?

Is there any standard draft for will for property?

Re: Will draft

(a) registeration of a will is not necessary at all;

(b) the registrar is a revenue officer, normally also called as the Tehsildar; he is a part of the office of Collector / Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate;

(c) the standard proforma of wills are available in law books regarding DRAFTING & CONVEYANCING; you may look at a book by D'Souza.

you may show me the draft as an attachment with e-mail.

No charges.
