will

my father expired in apr.2008,he left a will but this will is not registered,i m now want to mutation in my father's property,this will now acceptable or i have to registered it.

Hello.

Registration of Will is not mandatory at all.

Mutuation can still be done provided what are ingredients of the will.

the will whether registered or not, carries the same value provided it is not challenged in the court of law.

A will is not required to be registered for its validity. However, mutation based on a will are usually entered ONLY after the will is probated.

You may consider seeking Probate of the Will from appropriate court.
