will Marriage affidavit from notary public is enough for Visa Process ? is marriage affidavit is valid permanently (useful for lifetime) instead of registered marriage certificate ?

majority of the countries, these days, do not accept marriage certificate from temple, gurudwara, church etc. or an affidavit in lieu of the marriage certificate. For visa of US, canada, australia UK etc. one needs marriage registration certificate
