I work in the gulf , I filed divorce in March 2011 on the grounds of my wife deserting me for more than 2 years now. She has never responded to my petion till date neither appeared in court for the last 2 hearing so far , my third hearing is scheduled on October, kindly let me know if i need to go for a motion for default judgement or exparte...

yes, you lawyer may ask the judge to pass an ex parte decree in your favor thereby granting you divorce on the ground of desertion by wife.
