Legal Question in Family Law in India

wrt my previous question yesterday, Hi, my friend's husband has deserted her & filed divorce...she wants to save the marriage...getting different opinions from different people..is it better to file for residence orders in shared household or an RCR ....i got the answer to go for RCR, pls tell me :- is it necessary that RCR results in divorce if decree is in the other party's favor? also if she doesn't want to go in for litigation is there any other way out like filing any civil complaint in Women crime cell , husband's family refusing for any mediation being done between family members..
