Legal Question in Medical Leave in India

This is Regarding the Bike Theft from my residence , Gurgaon.

After the bike theft i report to police station with in 2 hr & get final report from police also

in the mean time we report to insured company " national insurance ' in this regards after 10 day approx

after submitting all the concern document to national insurance , in the last they are going to reduce 10% of claim amount due to delay in information to insurance company

please guide what to do

is their any gov rule / insurence rule is their that we have to report with in time frame to insurance companey

we make the information to police station on time.

there seem to be no delay in reporting the matter to the company. you may accept the amount and then file a complaint before the consumer forum for refund of 10% deduction.
