Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi,
I am 26 year old and working in an IT company in Noida. I am from a lower middle class family and eldest in the family. Somehow I could secure a job after completing my education. My parents did their best and went beyond their resources provide me the education
But now I and my family members are being targetted by some of my relatives who live nearby my home . One of the ladies who is also my relative is always passing comments on me and threatening. If she gets a chance she will not leave me alive. She even has told me once that she will get me killed.
This all is happening just because my family and I have started propering after a leading a poor life. They are very jealous of us especially after I have started earning. I am the major earner in my family. My father does nothing.
Please suggest if I can claim for mortification if she (my relative) abuses me or threatens me of my life since I work in a reputed company and has in image in the society. But I am targetted by a lady who is illiterate and can do any harm to me just because of jealousy.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Aqil

it is suggested that you may think of relocating to some other place. if it is not possible, you may approach a lawyer and file a suit for permanent injunction against the lady, restraining her from interfering in your or the life of your family members. in case she keep doing the same, you may also resort to a criminal complaint.
The only option i feel is that some senior member of your family ie. your father or mother should file a criminal case against this lady . Let Police take action her and i am sure this would send right signals to her and to her family. You dont have to relocate yourself anywhere else.
Dear Sir,
You can file a Criminal Case against her.
