Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

I am a Accountant, B.Com.Graduate,having experience of 35 years carrying on Accounting Services with a staff strength of only 3 Nos. from the residence on Ground Floor in the name of his wife for last 8 years. I have no visitors to my residence from my business. Till date no member has ever complained of any nuisance from my side.

Society has decided to levy maintenance charges at "Commercial Rate" to which I agreed. Now in AGM they decided to issue notice to me to Stop my Accounting Work which they have termed as Commercial, by 15th September.

Please advise.

Why did you agree for maintenance charges at commercial rates ? Please clarify . The society cannot ask you to stop your accounting work after 35 years .

If your work is with the Co-Operative Societies, then please clarify the same with the registrar of societies in your place, or otherwise file a suit at labor Court.
