Dear Sir / Madam,
When the Gift Deed has been made by the mother relinquishing her share in the ownership of the flat, the son becomes the sole owner of the flat.
An application has to be made to the Society submitting the original Gift Deed and a copy along with the prescribed forms for transfer of name to the Society.

You apply for the transfer of the name in the society's books based on the document executed in the son's favour by the mother.
