Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

When an American citizen files a suit in India; can she give an address of her fathers residence which she has never lived in and that too after she is disowned by him as her permanent address in a legal suit when in actual she is a permanent resident of New York and a US Citizen since 1985? What is the status as per the handbook of civil procedure 1908 or another act?

as per law, she cannot give her Delhi address in any suit or proceeding if she is not staying there and is permanently residing in New York. she needs to depose mentioning her US address and stating that at present she is in Delhi. mentioning a wrong address may attract the penalty of perjury.

You are suppose to give your Delhi address where you are living temporarily and your USA address too as you are permanently residing there.
