Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Can an Associate Member of a society be elected to the Managing Committee under the Maharashtra Co-op Societies Act. If yes, is there a time limit after becoming an Associate Member, where after only he can be elected to the Managing Committee. Or is it that he can immediately be elected to the Managing Committee.

It all depends on the bye laws as well as the Act in your State.
