Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

un authorised land occupation

my mother purchased 2 acers of farm land in 1995 and the property is acquired (not inherited) . My sister got married in 1994. at present some portion of the land is forcibly occupied by brother in law (sisters husband) for dowry. The boundaries of the said land are disturbed and removed. Income from the land is the sole means for maintenance of my mother and at present she is not able to give any amount to my sister due to ill health. My mother is afraid of giving police complaint. can u pl. suggest is there any legal means for retaining her property?.

Civil Suit can be filed. Even proceedings u/s 145 CRPC can be initiated.

Re: un authorised land occupation

why she is afraid is not clear.

normally you need to file complaint with police and u may file suit for injunction.

sec. 145 crpc proceedings is not good for you at present so avoid that.

for detailed advice please contact personally with documents. consultation charges will apply.
