Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi, I am brining forth the legal complications of my deceased father. My father while he was alive had a long drawn legal battle of property dispute with his brother. And while battling this case in the court he use to make his living by doing a business of supplying electrical equipment. My fathers brother to make him weak (as it was 2 younger brothers aganist elder brother) by causing him losses in his business influenced two of his cutomers into intiate a legal case. My father died in a road accident on 31st Dec 2009.
We his children and my mother are survived by our ancestrol share of our father and two legal cases of his business customers who both separetly have put cases in the court to attach his property.
Please advice what happens to these cases after his death.

You may become parties in pending cases through the lawyer who is already conducting the cases in courts.
Dear Sir,
Ancestral property cannot be attached to any of his personal debts which has been committed by your father, unless the property is partitioned specifically.
Thank You,
