Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Our case regarding service matter is in Calcutta High Court. Final hearing had been completed in the month of December,2008 but till today judgement or order has not been given by the Hon'ble court. Our Advocate verbally requested the Judge thrice to deliver the judgement.
Please let me know how long it can be delayed by the Hon'ble Judge. Is there any time limit in India for delivering judgement.

it may be so that the matter is kept for consideration and the judge is waiting for any of the lawyers to furnish some documents or law or there may be time constraint in pronouncing the judgment. the courts are overloaded with work so have patience.
