Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
our case is for termination of service in a university of west bengal. we are fighting at calcutta high court division bench and final hearing concluded in the month of december, 2008 but judges do not deliver any judgement till today although our advocate verbally requested thrice.
how long judges can delay and can you say what may be the reason for not giving judgement.

No time limit for making judgment. But you can request for early judgment by mentioning and or other petition process.

judges may delay the delivery of judgments in case they themselves are not clear of the law or they do not have sufficient time but there cannot be an inordinate delay in pronouncing the judgment. keep patience.
