Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Civil court gave a divorce decree which I have appealed in the High Court. In my passport application form what will be my marriage status, divorced or seperated as I have appealed in High court. I mean legally, am I divorced till the high court decides or I can say the status as seperated. Please help.

once you have appealed and stay of operation of the decree is granted, you not divorced and still married.
