what a client can do if a lawyer won't appear before court after taking fee and power of attorney..

you must elaborate in detail and also mention on what pretext the lawyer is not appearing. is there a retainer agreement between you two? have you obtained the receipt after making the payment?

Change the lawyer and file a complaint before the Bar Council of his state of his misconduct.
