Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Cooperative Housing Society Limited
Sir,
XYZ Enterprises (''XYZ'') has purchased a flat. The share certificate indicates the wife as the first holder and the husband as the second holder.
Accordingly, I understand that the husband is an Associate holder.
In this case, can the husband (being a Associate Member) be a member of the Managing Committee?

Yes, any member can be nominated/appointed/elected to the Managing Committee unless there is a specific bar in the bye-laws of the society.
