Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
The court has order my husband to pay interim maintenance , he gave a cheque of Rs 30000.00 to clear his arrears, but he did some alteration which were not properly authenticated by him , hence the cheque got returned due to reason "alteration requires drawers authentication "
This manipulation has been done by him deliberately to delay the payment, kindly advice what legal action can be taken against him and to recover the amount.

you may move and application in court seeking court directions to your husband to make payment through pay order or draft only.

You may move appropriate application in the same court which had directed him to make payment and seek his prosecution for intentionally giving a wrong cheque.
