Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Dear Sir,
I am residing in a co-operative housing society in mumbai and same house is on my mothers name.She is doing embroidery works on labor basis (not running boutique or show room).Recently our society has decided to charge extra commercial charges.
Can housing society charge on this activity?

Dear Sir,
If co-operative housing society in maharastra state is eligible as per the object clauses, or aims or rules of society permits same, then they can charge as per their norms enshrined in the societies act clause, otherwise bring this to the notice of registrar of co-operative societies in which your society got registered, okay
