Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Dear Sirs,

We have purchased a land and got it registered. Now after gap of 7 years we have received notice from a person stating that he has a 'WILL' against this land who is claiming that he is absolute owner and threatening us to return back the property. we got doubt on this 'WILL' and got the cross examination done at FSL laboratory done in 3 different agencies and found that the signature & Thumb impressions are not matching with the original Owners hence it is found fabricated WILL.

Now my question to you is, guide us how to reply back to his notice with Section Nos under punishable acts.

Also mention can we proceed criminal case against him as he himself is a lawyer kindly elaborately answer my request.

Thanks

Kiran

If you don't have sufficient knowledge of law and procedures don't take risk, you can engage a good local lawyer and reply the notice thru him.

as you already got the test done at FSL, it clearly shows that you were well aware that a will subsists and still you purchased the property. anyhow, in case he files a suit you may have to defend the same.
